Agenda Builder: Managing RTMP on the Builder
RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) provides high-performance and secure streaming of audio, video, and data from an encoder to a server, which then distributes the stream across the internet. Jublia uses RTMP Push to receive streams from your source.
Getting Started with RTMP
Step 1: Create RTMP Channel
Navigate to Manage > Agenda Builder > RTMP.
Click Add RTMP Channel to create a new channel. Enter a channel name and configure necessary settings.
The system will generate a unique Stream URL and Stream Key for each channel, which you will use to connect the RTMP source.
Step 2: Integrate RTMP Channel with the Source
The next step is to integrate the RTMP Channel with your source (e.g., OBS, Zoom).
Ensure a stable internet connection for uninterrupted streaming.
Step 3: Validate the Channel
To test the RTMP connection, start the stream from your source.
Wait for 30 seconds, then click Refresh next to the Channel Status to validate the connection.
Once validated, the test player should display the stream with a Play button. This ensures that the connection between your source and Jublia is functional.
Step 4: Publish the Channel
Once validated, you can Publish the channel so viewers can watch the stream.
The stream will be accessible to viewers once the channel is published. You can Unpublish the stream to stop the broadcast.
Integrating RTMP Channel with Streaming Software
Zoom Integration
Step 1:
For Zoom, use the provided Stream URL and Stream Key.
Step 2:
Your stream will appear without Zoom’s interface or functionality.

OBS Integration
Step 1: In OBS, click the + button under Sources to add a new source.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Stream, and select Custom under the Service dropdown.
Step 3: Copy the Stream URL and Stream Key from Jublia and paste them into the OBS settings.
Step 4: Set the Video Bitrate to 1000 in Settings > Output.
Step 5: Create and configure Placeholder scenes for the start and end of the stream, as well as your Main Scene.
Step 6: Start streaming from OBS, ensuring that you switch between scenes smoothly.
Adding RTMP to the Agenda Session
Step 1: Go to Manage > Agenda Builder > Builder.
Step 2: Select or create a session for the RTMP stream.
Step 3: Under Header Media, choose RTMP and select the RTMP channel you created.
Step 4: Publish the channel for the stream to go live.
What to Do If the RTMP Stream Does Not Work
Troubleshooting Steps
Stream Not Visible to Attendees:
Step 1: Check if the Agenda Session and RTMP Channel are Published.
Step 2: If not, ensure the stream is active and the Channel is Published.
Stream Not Validated:
Step 1: Ensure the RTMP Stream URL and Stream Key are correctly set in your source (OBS, Zoom, etc.).
Step 2: If validation fails, check the settings on the content provider platform (e.g., Zoom or OBS).
Content Provider Setup Issues:
Step 1: Verify that the stream has started on your source.
Step 2: Confirm that the RTMP channel is integrated properly by adding the correct Stream URL and Stream Key.
